Hello all, Just getting advise from those who have done the job.

I have 10 seconds in the bag. but saving the heart break of doing damage on the track I am after any advise for a strong no hassles 10 second all day long drive line, From flywheel back with the leg room for lower times when I get there.

I would like to stick with my rear end if possible. going for heavy billet axles and diff/pinion setup...

I am also after options of box conversions. I would like a fully manualized box option just so I can Dump and run. Trans brake or clutch setup.

Yes its a BF turbo .

Thanks for the input.

p.s - I damaged the converter last week so I thought now is the time to get advise.

I'm also curious to what others recommend.

Mines a BF Turbo, starndard driveline with the exception of super pro bushes and it has held up fine so far with a best time of 11.1 @ 125.

Weak point would have to be tailshaft if holding boost on the line for too long.

Billet shafts from diff technics are a good option and on my to do list.

What damage did you do to the convertor and how?

410 says the Autotech dyno.

Still trying to get my head around this drag stuff.

Made more power on flex but MPH was down by 1. This could be due to the quicker the ET, the less time you have to get a higher MPH.

It was also 27 deg when I ran the 11.1 so I don't think it would have had more than 380 ish.

Went out this week and the first pass was wheelspin city through 1st and 2nd (ET streets), ran 11.8 at 127. Might be from all the rain and a not so well prepped track.

It then went pear shaped.

2nd run and heard a pop and then no boost, pipe came off the throttle body. I had the thermostat replaced that day so thought the hose clamp may not have been put on properly.

3rd run and same thing happened, packed it up and went home very dissapointed.

It turns out the bolt that holds down the TB on the PW TB relocation kit was not put on and as soon as the boost gets up the clamp has no hope of holding the hose on.

All sorted now and hopefully back out this week.

Still after legit info before taking the two hour drive to see my tuner?

Busted the converter on a hard 2nd too 3rd Manual shift with the sequential. felt the power drain out mid way through the pull.. everything went fine on the drive home, yet I had a very nice groaning noise at mid rpm until it shifted. Took it to my workshop and sussed it out started making a very nice click/rattle sound at idle in the bell housing until I clicked it into drive then the sound drops out... So im guessing Flex plate, converter, input or close there too.

I am also after the Monsta torque website if they have one. google does not seem to show it

Don't think they have a website. Better off giving them a ring.

Bugger! ET's well that's just cheating!

Nah all good, weird about the E85 being slower MPH!

450+, tail shaft, ET's should = mid 10's I;d reckon!
