Its obviously just a software problem due to the fact that I never had it happen again after my tune. You would be going down the right track by purchasing an FG instead of throwing money at your BA. I wasted stacks of cash on my BA thanks to a dodgy well known southside bris tuner. Got my FG and absolutely love it.
