update:

car is still tripping the alarm when the battery saver mode kicks in after 15min

door circuits have been seperated so cant be those, diode has been installed in boot lighting circuit

anyone had this problem before??? its such a pain in the butt not knowing where the voltage is coming from that's tripping it - also its a cyclops alarm

auto sparky has a friend coming to NZ for a holiday in 2 weeks who works for a sydney ford dealer...will have to wait until then to find out :S

just an update:

the problem was based around the FPV upgrade alarm. Apparently there is another step which needs to be taken to overide the FPV alarm. So if you have a cyclops alarm (ford add on alarm) and it false alarms it could be this problem.
