Name is hayden and I'm a tradesman mechainc/auto electrician/gearbox technician. I had 9 of these cars and the last one I built was also turbo but it was stolen a couple of years ago, then I picked this up for pretty cheap and began the re-build of a turbo falcon. I set out with a goal of 600rwhp but I piced up my GT4202 for a really good price new, I now had something better in mind to build a very low budget high horsepower car. I built this car from top to bottom with countless hours and research with no workshop assistance and beleive me it's been a big learning experience.

These are my specs:

List of mods:

Engine: Ford AU 4.0l sohc inline 6 bored 20thou, PPM forged pistons, PPM Forged H-beam rods, ACL race series bearings, decked and honed, crack tested.

Head: Tickford Head with 4mm bigger Exhust valves and extensive porting

Intake: Snort performance Iceman 1200 plenum with 90mm throttle body

Cam: Surecam Custom Turbo Competition Grind (600thou lift)

Fuel: Walbro 255lh lift pump, 2x bosh 044's, Custom 4L surge tank, Turbosmart FPR800 Fuel regulator, 1650cc Indy Black injectors, custom fuel rail with 1/2 lines and speedflow fittings

Igniton: Wolf v4 ecu with hand controller, IC&E Ignition Module, IC&E, 8.5mm MSD Leads

Valvetrain: Rollermaster timing gears, Crow race cam chain, Crow race double valve springs, Crow chrome molley reatainers and titanium collets

Drivetrain: Tremec T56 conversion, hydraulic cylinder conversion, 5puk Direct Clutch Service clutch (3400lb rated)

Turbo: Garrett GT4202 with 1.01 Turbine Housingand 4inch intake, 50mm Racegate with 60mm screamer, Snort stage 6 prototype Turbo manifold with split merge collector and 50mm Tuned length runners, 4inch dump pipe, turbosmart 2- stage boost controller

Intercooler: Plazmaman Competition Series 1350hp 700x400x75mm

Exhaust: 4ich turbo back with one muffler

Brakes: Standard callipers with slotted rotors

Wheels: 19x8.5inch Lenso S7 Modify

Suspension: King Springs Ultra Lows, Pedders Sports Ryder Shocks

Interior: Full leather seats, Facory Momo steering wheel with facory cruise buttons

Music: None, still going with rest of car and leaving this till last

Suspension: Standard tickford struts with king spring ultra lows all round

Power: 500rwkw at 25psi on e85 \ 427rwkw on 98ron (both figures done with ignition failure on high rpm due to bad leads which is now fixed with my MSD leads) still plenty left in it

That's insane...

What are you gonna do with it? That's a 9 second car with an auto...

Thought about removing all of the striping and colour coding the whole bumper? I reckon it'd look perfect then!!!

Single axle diff, one piece driveshaft, that's what a few on this forum have changed to!!!!!! A few have stripped the buggery out of their B series and it still weighs more than a stock ED. Good work, nothing will touch that easily except an automatic turbo ED. That I have.
