was lookin on carsales and tradingpost at xr6 turbos and typhoons and there is quite a difference in price so my question is, is it worth it pay the extra money for the typhoon or just get an xr6t and spend the saved money on mods for it??

Depends what your after. Unless it's a bf2 zr6t, the phoon has a stronger bottom end, better brakes, the interior, bodykit, and wheels.

Xr6t's are getting cheaper though, and the savings can be enough to make a nicely modded T.

If you want to push over 400rwkw ild go the phoon if you could afford, or bf2 xr6t and spend some money on the brakes.

There's a chance the phoon may have been looked after better being a more exclusive car, but this certainly isn't a sure fire bet.

Going FPV gets you a lot of goodies such as the rims and more importantly brakes, and you're sure to get the nicer interior as well.

If you're on a real budget go the XR and spend on mods, that's what I did...but still paid 28k for it hahaha (1 yr old with 37,000km, 1 owner - the police). Has been great!!

What sort of price differences are you seeing?

If you can afford it go for Typhoon, your gonna spend the coin on mods you will need better brakes.

hahahah go the phoon for sure better handling and everything people reacon iv herd they are a tottaly different car to drive compared to xr6t iv never driven a xr6t just my phoon so couldnt tell ya but it drives like an absolute baby

Suggesting a Typhoon is totally different to drive than an XRT is fanciful to the extreme......

XRTfortheBooks, the Typhoon is a better car sure (brakes in particular), but whether its worth the extra $$ is personal preference......for me its no, but then I like my cars very discreet so I'm a little biased. The extra exclusivity is worth $$ to some buyers

If your thinking F6 have you considered an FG XRT?

I'd go FG XR6T over BA/F F6 any day, just depends what you're after.
