I don't think the HPF dyno reads low I believe they make an effort to be consistant and accutare with the dyno they have. I know Paul and Martin and they are both experienced and competant tuners, I worked with Paul for a little while and know that like me he is more about fact than fiction. I have had cars on my dyno where customers have 350 rwkW dyno sheets that only make 280 rwkW on our dyno, it is due to this I alway do a before and after. We run in the 9's in a VL with 100 rwkW's less than some people are claiming that run 10's. If in doubt speak to the guys at HPF, they could easily do another dyno run that would show another 20 or 50 rwkW without any tuning, dosen't mean you made any extra power! The dyno dynamics dyno's are the easiest to fudge results on, that's why I use a DTS Prodyne, it is the hardest to fudge figues on.

Kartman I understand there can be big differences in dynos which is why I ran it on another dyno and got about the same. As a bit of a reference, before I did all of my mods I did the injectors and put in a generic tune with the x3. I ran it up on a local dyno to check the tune was ok and it was running about 270 - 280rwkw (about 15 PSI). I then did the rest and got it custom tuned at HPF for 315 rwkw. My thoughts were it was low so I got it checked on the same local dyno and got about 312rwkw @17PSI. So according to the local dyno I gained about 35rwkw by doing full exhaust, cooler, fuel pump etc and then getting it custom tuned. I know there are other factors like the temperature could have been lower when I first ran it on the dyno after doing the injectors but I still would have expected more power for less boost after the custom tune and extra mods.

Spool I have heard the rear muffler on the xforce can be restrictive it would be interesting to swap it and check it but I wouldnt think it would be that restrictive. The tips do look small I might measure them myself!

I suppose the best thing would be to have a run in another car with similar mods to compare how it feels or give it a run down the strip. Dont really know anyone else around my area with similar setup and we dont have a drag strip. Cant see myself being down in melbourne for a few months due to work.

I have a customer with basic bolt on's on a BA Auto that drives to Calder, races without changing tyres or pressures, we run 15 psi and it makes 280 rwkW, it runs 12.3 at 115mph and could in theory do an 11 with a perfect 60 foot, there are others claiming 350 rwkW still struggling to get into the 12's, go race it and see what your mph is.

15psi through a BA should see a MPH around 120-121MPH...

That matches my experience too.

A power curve that gets up to peak power and holds it is needed for fast 1/4 times.

You can have 2 cars making the same peak power with the same setup running very different times just because of how the power is delivered.

I don't see how a MPH can be assumed from the amount of boost the car runs. Some tuners like more boost and less timing while others prefer less boost and more timing. Power output could be the same.

True probably has not much timing and more boost.
