Yea oil screen or just remove that stupid little oil stopping filter from the banjo bolt.

But then the crap will end up in the turbo so isnt the whole point of having a filter is to extend life of the turbo.

well having that screen and not changing your oil often enough killed your turbo in the end anyways

you can have no screen but you gotta change your oil more often like benny said every 5-7K.

If you put a T04Z front wheel on it mate it will be laggy and to really see the potential of that front wheel you need a bigger exhuast housing. Just speaking from my experiance.

How different was it compared to the std turbo for a daily driver, eg cruising, fuel consumption, building boost off the line?

Cruising no difference, but you lose that down low punch that the standard wheel gives you along with a lazier spool. This is mainly due to the T04Z wheel being heavier so it needs more work to get it turning.

I have a brand new custom "true" GT3540, aka GT3582R = .70 A/R comp housing that I was going to use in my 3.0L Merc build. It has billet comp wheel & dual ceramic bearings. Better than the XR6T stock Garrett which has .50 A/R comp housing. Also, Garrett use plastic ball bearing cases whereas this doesn't!

It has a small .63 A/R turbine housing but all you have to do is fit your XR6 rear

Cost me $2100 make me an offer above $1200 & it's yours. Never fitted on car!
