I doubt u would get any "discount" for doing it that way so a custom tune would automaticaly be on the cards

I think the question was, can the tune in the ZF that is done while the engine is on stock tune, be reliably applied once the engine is tuned up?

Or would it need a retune like the engine does if you change the exhaust etc.

Which makes a new point, what's a ZF REtune worth?

I dare say it all comes down to how much of a kent your tuner wants to be

it has made the zf quite pleasent under light throttle and even made it a chunk more enjoyable to drive with out its usual lurches and clunks

If you were to get the ZF tuned before the engine tune, would you need to get the ZF re-tuned at a later stage or does it make no difference whether you do it before or after?

Still keen on the answer to this one, no guarantee a tune for a stock box would suit 300/400+rwkw. Everyone will find out the cost come ZF tune time with their respective tuners I'm sure!

Dont know if its been answered but can you program it to blip the throttle on downshifts? Especially when in Perf mode or Manually shifting?
