They did not specify type of XR....surely this must be a first anywhere in Australia....freakypsthey did specify that speed was the cause!!!! :( Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/7532-speed-kills/ Share on other sites

Posted 18/11/03 07:42 AM Share Posted 18/11/03 07:42 AM It's not speed that kills, it's drivers who put themselves into positions they can't handle, whether it be at speed or not. This sounds like a total waste of life and I don't think anyone that age should be given a $40,000 car without supervision. How must the sales guy who gave him the keys feel :( poor guy. Will be interesting to hear all the details of how it occured. Guest GEEZER Guests Posted 18/11/03 08:55 AM Share Posted 18/11/03 08:55 AM It's always scary hearing something like that especially whern a truck and car are involved, being so young makes it even worse.. being 19 myself the last thing you want to do is put yourself in a dangerous position with that much power behind the wheel.. but its a lesson for all I guess.
