As countless others have said in this post I can't believe Ford sets them up the factory weak sounding way. Just did this quick 10 min mod in the boot and what a difference. A big improvement! It's good enough for me. More bass, tighter sounding bass and generally a cleaner sounding system rather than distortion plus which is what it sounded like before the mod. Any help with poor radio reception would be greatly appreciated. If I do I'll make sure it's non metallic for the back window. Anyone else with FG MkII ICC experiencing poor reception. Can I get some sort of signal booster? Heaps more bass in the back seat, can't say it's immensely noticeable up front. Will live with it a while before I decide but definitely can say it's an improvement! Been trying for a good hour but can't get the wires out of the plug to swap them over. From the comments in this thread I am thinking the tabs at the bottom of the plug need to depressed to get the wires out. . .but hasn't worked so far (see pic below).Any help greatly appreciated.
