Any lucky forum members had any experience of upgrading from a BF to a FG XR6T ute?

Just wondering how much, if any better the FGs are.

Take one for a test drive. I own a bf2 ute and have had a few drives of j.d's fg ute. Both manual.

The little gadgets are cool, speedo on the dash etc. The ICC is Better too premo vs premo.

The manual has shorter feeling throws, very direct. But the clutch doesnt feel as good as the Bf.

Oh and the fg's are uglyyy :stirthepot:

If you plan to mod though, the fg's little turbo makes it alot of fun to drive.

I had a ba bf, sold them, then saved for a year and got the FG ute, just soo much nicer to be in. and drive. you have to drive one to feel the difference. Fg goes better too :3gears:

Yeah mate, I stepped up from BF xr6 to FG xr6t. They are almost uncomparable in ride and handling. Heaps better ute in my eyes.

Went AUII > BFII XR6. Both NA 1 Tonners though, and they felt exactly the same to drive.

Then to FG XR6T. Different as chalk and cheese. So much better to drive. And that's not taking the turbo power into account.

It is by far, the best ute I have had.
