well done, that's alot of power to try and put down coming out of corners. what's been done to the engine.

Have an Atomic motor with Fat rods, Hi mass Balancer ,Main girgle support ,Atomic Anti pump up Lifters.

Nispro Inlet and exhaust manifolds , 5 inch Dump to 3 inch exhaust.

Turbonetics GT850 turbo , 1000cc injectors and heaps more I can not remember

What suspension set up are you looking at?

You'll love the the twin gate 6BOOST Manifold, this is the same set up I have in my car. You going for a GTX42 as well?

Yes it is ,bought it and the forged piston slap turned out to be terminal!!

Have sent the national debt on it from PBR M series 6 and 4 pot monoblock brakes , true track with 4.11s , Resolution billet flywheel ,Jim Barry 3800 lb clutch, Mal wood tail shaft , 1000hp axles , Tien suspension and REAL 525 on 98. Has 18 by 8.5 and 9.5 Enkie GTC with 245 and 285 Falke RSV04 semislicks. It now goes stops and corners.

The dyno I had from the previous set up was crap and on racing fuel ,this set up has more power and plenty of reliability.

Next are racing seats and belts , rollcage , Mal wood gear box , and a good Suspension set up for the track.We call it big bird , my wife calls it the money pit or the taxi depending on what we have spent on it recently

Mate that sounds insane! There are alot more xr6t's reaching and going beyond the

500 mark these days! I remember back in 06, 07 when 350rwkw was a huge achievement,

now GT's are almost making that power stock!

I need to step up the power by replacing my stuffed turbo and going a larger set up,

only problem is I want a turbo that is not laggy and will punch out close to your power.

I will watch your thread with interest, good luck mate and beat those porsches

Hi Alf,

If that's what you want an option would be to run a smaller billet compressor turbo running E85, targeting 500rwkw.

There are now a lot more turbo options available if you do some research.

I didn't think traction was possible in these cars with that kind of power but after goin in spiros even though it's not really a fair example it is definalty possible and with the setup that's goin in mine it should help especially with the whopping semis we'll tuck under there lol. Suspension and the right tune goes a long way in playing it's part to get it all down.
