Why should ppl who are forth right and honest pay for your fck ups?Changing the ECU will not avoid the possibility of being caught, in fact it would probably the flag the vehicle even higher for further investigation if seeking warranty work.

Legacy Donating Member 2,533 Member For: 18y 7m 9d Gender: Male Location: Sydney Posted 09/02/11 03:20 AM Posted 09/02/11 03:20 AM Buying a spare PCM won't work either as your original one is vin locked to your car and it's serial number is also recorded against your car.The only way you could do it is if your service manager loged a issue with your cars PCM and they ordered and replaced as a spare if you know what I mean!But all that said it would in the end not be worth it.I've recently been down this road and at the end of the day Big Brother always seems to win out.
