No one knows why, how etc. Either way I have a new diff but I still have that bad feeling that the car is not going to hold up and Ill be let down again.I searched around and it seems these diffs are pretty good so maybe I got a lemon. any thoughts?

Found touch up paint on them to try and disguise. Well done FORD. Hope your toy gets better.I have been hearing some noises in the back of mine. I'm just putting it off for a while as I can tell it won't be coming back to me in a hurry.
