hi guys as of a month ago, I became a proud owner of a g6et and wanted to know as much about this car as I could ,that's the reason I joined this forum, there are some very knowledgeable people on this site.ask a question and someone will have the answer.

I would like to think the administrators on this site,understand that this would be a spicy topic. because of the different age groups involved and would tolerate a vigorous debate or points of view. and if it got to personal I would expect the administrators, to tell the persons involved to pull their heads in, but let the topic run. anyway iam still new to this forum stuff,so I dont know all the rule and regulations. but common sense tells me there is nothing wrong with a vigorous discussion

Won't be drawn on the management of other forums as we are a different beast and demographic so they have to take a fairly hard line with things like that.

But yeah as a general rule discussion and debate is welcome, wankers aren't and are usually dealt with swiftly.

I just got my car back today was impounded and they charge you $5 an hour for storage fees, so for 30 day impound would they still charge you $5 an hour????

How long does the warning stand,

Eg say you get get done and the third time was five years from

Date of first offense.

Or is it if caught 3 times within a specified time frame.

Surely it can't be for a life time?

In WA 1st time is 28 days impounded (costs about $600 for storage if you drop it there yourself or else you pay another couple of hundred for the tow tuck)

2nd time is 3 months impounded.

3rd time is crushed (sorry dad, I was driving your Ferrari and... )

Each time you get a hoon offence it lasts 5 years. So if you've done 4.5 years after 1st offence & get caught, you're 3 months without a vehicle & have to wait another 5 years before you go back to level 1 again. The hoon law is pretty similar in all the states that have it, just the times & speeds are slightly different.

So far it's made no difference to all the VL bogans with 'caution - vehicle frequently sideways' stickers & has only affected ordinary motorists.

Looks like I will be driving slow for the next 5 years, well if they still charged u $5 per hour for 30 days that's $3600, surely they cnt charge u that??? Can they?

What happens if you sell car or transfer ownership to someone else?

Say you been done twice, smart move would be to either sell or deregister

Pride and joy and buy a sh*tter until the 5 year period and once

That passes get another decent car?????

What if your in a friends car, the 3rd time, do they crush his car or

Your car even though your car has been behaving itself sitting in garage

Awaiting the 5y sentence to pass.

If it stays with the vehicle what happens when you sell it and new owner

Gets caught on vehicles 3rd offense.

What if you own 2 cars and been done once in each and 3rd time

Your in the sh*tbox daily driver, surely they won't crush both?

What if your car is actually registered in partners name and you don't

Have a car registered in your name?

Need to find the loop holes and let everyone know.
