Better than previous - yes, but let's see how they pan out over time. They will never top the UK show, so they shouldn't really try. This is where they've failed in the past. However I still did see quite a bit of characterisation copy of the UK mob with the Oz mob. I stopped watching the Oz version early in the piece because it was pathetic crap. I'll start again with the new series and see how it pans out. I'll give them a shot but I have my doubts.I also think the UK show needs to pick up its act as well. There is way too much focus on Supercars and high performance machines that a fraction of the public can afford. I'd love to see them test other Aussie cars than bloody Commadoms. F6 or 6T - yeah! I also think it would be good for them to occasionally do a serious comparo or test, for a serious result. Albeit with their humnourous spin. If the UK version was truely global in its approach to testing cars, then the Oz version would not need to exist. Maybe that's why.
