I take it that no one has the nous to crack the TCM.. What do ZF themselves use to read and hopefully adjust/reprogram their own product...Does this mythical beast exist? Surely someone has an inkling? There must be differences in the programming even between different applications of the same box, between Jag and BMW et al?

Been living under a rock Danny? Didn't you hear that SCT are adding tables for ZF tuning very shortly?

I heard that two years ago but u never know now.. I guess that's why they shut down xcal1 so they can compensate themselves with the costs developing the software, now u have to buy a new xcal if you want the adjustments for the zf 6 speed.

Apparently SCT are for real this time. There is at least one tuner working with the development software for Herrod (alpha stage). It's meant to be quite something.
