It's a "courageous move" to buy any car, let alone a performance car, without an impeccable history. Didn't you want to know how it had been serviced etc?

Having said that, some of the best cars I have ever owned had dubious backgrounds - bought at auctions when I was younger and poorer and price was the overwhelming consideration. Some of the worst were brand new cars with a reputation for quality and reliability - go figure!

Hope your T turns out to be a great car. Don't panic yet - treat it to a thorough service and check over as well as some TLC. If it looks and drives like a good car, then it probably is. Lots of greats overcome a disadvantaged childhood!

Regards

zeke

bitter taste in your mouth. :D

Welcome Rapt.

l wouldnt be too bothered, just get the 15000km service done and you should be back on track. You have a 3 yr warranty to take care of any problems.

I think you guys all have Turbo's on the brain! Last time I checked the T started being produced in 2003 not dec 2002! So he has a car of some sort that may not even be a Ford! Just goes to show we dont read every word we see!
