all the holes on the inside of the plenum will be tapped out and I will wind studs into them from the bottom then dropp it through the bottom side and wind a nut on from underneath. I will just drill out the thread on base so the studs will just drop through.

I pulled my plenum apart today and took some pics to show what I was talkin about how the round holes are not flush with the base....turbo is same just without the butterflies

if you blocked off the half moon holes and hooked up a throttle cable to the butterflys you could have itb's

yea I know wat your saying. that is sorta what I was asking about earlier in the thread. about all the turbulence created in that air pocket between each hole and the base of the top half.

I havent had any progress on the plenum this week cos I been flat out doing other things. might do abit on it today.

yeah true, not sure ay when I made my other one I welded the plate to the bottom half and filled in the gaps so it was all smooth, it should be ok that's what all the other ones are like there all flat on the bottom and just bolt down....or just cut you base out like the gasket and top half how it just has the half moons then one big slot for the round holes....

Got the plenum welded up. just have to sort out the map sensor mount and tap the holes. machine it then polish it up then she is all finished
