Hi There

Can anyone please advise a recommend a reasonable priced Diff oil for my BA XR6T Auto,

so far I have been quoted $275 + trade for 20 liters of suitable oil, plus $100 for the required additive from Ford,

hoping to find alternatives that sort of represent "reasonable" prices

you need less than 2L of oil for the diff so I wouldn't be buying it in bulk for a 6 monthly change..

I used redline 80w140 and it tightened the diff up alot. mine was a bit sloppy with castrol oil in it.

Agree with above. When I saw 20Lt I thought what kinda truck diff you got in ya falcon.

Don't buy the Lubrizol additive from Ford......the $100 is extremely expensive for this. It is the anti chatter agent.

Put some Nulon diff additive in. You will save $80 and it is a far better and a more technologically advanced solution.

Talk to the guys on their tech line....they know their stuff.

If you speak to your local Castrol supplier, they have the LSD oil and it already has the additive as part of the oil

If you speak to your local Castrol guy, they have a LSD oil which has the additive as part of the oil.
