Im thinking about buying a can to hopefully alleviate my rough idle when cold problem which has been progressivley getting worse.

Have any of you guys tried it?

I have heard allot of good things about this product...

The ford dealer I work for uses it seems to work great be warned it makes the car smoke while you are using it but that only last a few minutes.

Subaru swear by the stuff, removes nearly all traces of built up carbon. Follow the instructions on the car carefully though.

we used to use it quite regularly (honda, audi dealership etc), had a ba gt come in pinging, used 2 cans on it and it was fine after that, it will pump out a heap of white smoke.

I have recently used a can on my BFT to try and rid my car of rough idle. Didnt do anything for the idle but has made the car feel more responsive under lighter acceleration. Didnt get any smoke either.

For those that have used this stuff...where do you spray into the intake from? The BOV hose?

Or did you guys take off the the whole intake and spray through the throttle body?

I went through the throttle body

The stuff works well just spray about halp the can into the manifold with engine tunred off and the rest of the can into the hose that hooks into the Blow off valve (the little hose) with engine running at a fast ilde. Just watch the stuff that comes out of the exhaust doesnt get onto your paint its pretty strong.
