Hi Guys,

I had a flat today, Changed tyre with the spare which looked to be brand new. 16 inch rim.

Put it on went to drive away and the car felt like something was catching. Took tyre back off to notice scratches on the caliper from the rim.

Had to leave my car on the side of the road for the in a dodgy suburb, as I will have to take my flat in to get replaced.

Has anyone else had this problem? looks to me like the previous owner has done a dodgy.

Anyone got a spare that will fit they want to sell?

Have you got bigger brakes? If they are stock brakes the 16 should fit over them,,,

should have put the spare on the rear and the rear on the front to get you by, as the rear brakes are much smaller.

Not quite true ZAP. Some BF MKIs and MKIIs have the larger 328mm rear discs and bigger (than normal) rear calipers.

I had a look today and on it written in permanent paint pen is EL, Do you guys think this wheel is from an EL falcon?

Can someone confirm 16's do fit? do I need a different offset or a bigger size?

Wonder how two space savers would look on the front of the car, like front runner/cheese cutters at the drags...lol

I picked up a couple of 16" steel chasers for, uh, spares and found they wouldn't go over the 322mm rears.
