Got spool billet pump gears fitted not long ago. Will have gauges hooked up in a week or so and can give some pressures then.

Anyone know where to find a DYI on how to remove oil pump gears (FG)?

I realise its a big job and need mechanical knowledge (which I have), but it could save about $1000 in labour

Would be a mission without a hoist. Have to remove the thermo fans drop the power steering rack, drop the sump, remove belt and the timing cover and probably a few other things.

Would be better off getting it done at a workshop.

If your going to get gears done, is there anything else worth doing while they're at it?

Atomic HD chain and tensioner and new genuine guides as a minimum. Hardened crank gear as well if you've got the budget.
