foxtrot Member 77 Member For: 17y 11m 28d Posted 28/02/10 11:22 PM Posted 28/02/10 11:22 PM Hi Must be me, The old autometer shift light with plug in modules would need a tach adaptor just like a tacho would which sits in the engine bay beside the ABS module and conects to the positive feed wire to all the coils (a thick red/green wire on the engine side of the quick release plug beside the ECU) this then gives a signal to the tacho or shift light like a normal distributor. Alough I havent fitted one yet the later shift lights will hook up to the negative of just one coil and just read 1/6 of the pulses the early ones did and still work properly once programed.
