hey everyone just wandering what drivability and max out power I will be able to achieve from a set of stock XR6T BA MKII valve springs?

any info will be appreciated

Normally see then fail around 280 rwkw mark, but have seen 1 set only go 235 and another go 305.

Yeah I think they do mate! was just trying to skip the step and see if I could run 280rwkw's but maybe need to wait off the tune to rather buy a decent set of springs and then maybe boost it up to 300rwkws

Did BF MkI have the better springs?

we got very bad valve float in my fg at 280 rwkw so we had them replace cost about $900 to do

Wow, that would have to be the first I've heard of it steve, sounds like BA valve float!

yer your telling me I didn't need that cost at chrissy that was my new intercooler $$ car wounldn't rev past 4800rpm we booked it in and had it done

I can't speak highly enough of Joel at Peninsula Performance in Mornington he did a great job fitting them the car is going back this week to be retune with the new intercooler

if its a fg wouldnt it be under warranty? was it only after giving it a hit that they loosened up or was it all the time?
