Hi,

I asked a trimmer if he could reconstruct my drivers side seat bolster. I did not realise however you can buy the seat pad including bolsters in one complete unit. Apparently fitment is easy for a motor trimmer

I just got quoted $220 for a new foam pad for the drivers side. Does anybody know which company acually makes the ford seats. ?

Are any trimmers able to modify the bolsters to make them larger like on a good Recaro or Sparco. I'm sure I've heard of some trimmers that can do this even with airbags.

The R/H one that runs along the seat has gone on my Phoon, probably from getting in and out so often. Pretty poor quality in my opinion. I too would love to know what it would cost to rebuild these. :roflmbo::roflmbo:

Jasper mine has gone as well, I understand u can swap the drivers and passenger seat bases and hopefully wont be as noticable, not a fix but maybe a half decent workaround.

who have we got on this forum that is an upholsterer/trimmer?

maybe we could do a shout out or if any one knows anyone in that industry would they be able to or would like to as the selection of people on here talking about this issue would like beefed up bolsters.
