Premium Sound In Fg Ute...

When I bought my FG turbo ute I got the premium sound, was told I would get the colour screen etc etc, and of course when it arrived it had none of these things- don't believe a thing your car salesman says, he just wants you to sign up a sale.

that's a real bummer for you mate, did you get the lux pack or just upgrade the sounds. The upgraded sound is just that, upgraded sound. The lux pack is climate controle and all the gizmos including colour screen leather 19" wheels.

Do any of you guys happen to know what size the speakers are in the rear of the FG ute?

guys.. I don't know how much extra you pay on the FG, but on my BF the only good thing about the premo sound was the screen..the sound system is not that great. I took out the speakers, amp and installed after market parts and it made a "Huge" diff.

BF has 5x7. I assume its the same for FG?

Tab is correct , Ford classify the front door speakers (2ways) as 2 speaker each. This is the same as the G6ET where there is two missing when talkin to for they say there is two in the front door. This has been mentioned in other forums.

I installed Dynamat on the back wall after about 3000 km and I believe it reduced road noise slightly but made the stero sound alot better.

did u just install the Dynamat on rear wall or dors aswell? been thinking about it myself... do it yourself or have it done?

BF has 5x7. I assume its the same for FG?

I'm pretty sure they are actually 6.5 in the front and back of the FG.
