Hey all,

Just wondering what people are paying for a new FG Turbo sedan auto drive away and with what options?

My mate is looking and has seen an 08 plate no options apparently prepared for Police and not taken, dealer wants a nudge over $40k drive away. I am not sure if that is good or bad given its 08 plated and basic.

I've read that the Ford staff discount gets a manual XR6T for $35000 + on road costs (this is rock bottom). So 40K driveaway for an auto is quite good.

Best price I could get was 45k on road with premium sound, tech pack, tinted windows. Manual turbo sedan. tried about 4 dealers, and this was the best price by about 3k! Its a sept 09 build.

that's inline with my price, just got a few more extras.

XR6T Auto, Premium Sound, Tech Pack, Safety Enhancment Pack (Alarm, Adjustable Pedals, Curtain Airbags), Reverse Sensors and Leather a little under $49K.

I paid just under $51k for my XR6 T , but that was with SUNA sat nav, tints, technology pack and extended warranty until 2015. BTW its now for sale if anyone wants a bargain. Sensation, 18000kms , 6spd manual, +++ , $37500 ono.

It's a ute, but I'm getting a Dec 09 XR6T for $40,950 with Luxury,Tech Pack,Mats and cab tidy.

Not sure if the sedans are much dearer.

I think for the 08 he's looking at it's a bit steep.

Still happy with the price.

If I didn't get staff discount I wouldn't even consider buying brand new.
