can anybody tell me what fuse to remove to stop the panic button from working??

Dam thing keeps going off and I have tried changing the batteries in the remotes but nothing seems to work. Any help would be great or I will just go through the fuses until I get it to stop.

Cheers

Rhys

I don't think there is a fuse for it, it uses the horn. You could take out the horn fuse if you want a car with no horn.

which is also classified as a fail for a RWC....(no horn that is)

My horn decided to start going off at 3am one morning.

Thought that something was up, took out the relay for the horn etc.

Ended up getting a flat battery 2 weeks later.

Maybe that's the problem. Apparently the horn sounds when you battery is going flat.

Just another idea if you battery is about 3-4 years old.

Ive got the same problem, mine seems to go off early in the morning. Ive got a dry cell excide battery, but it has been run flat a couple of times so maybe I need a new one.

No idea on the problem, But that would be annoying!

I have the same problem aswell, the only thing I can put it down to is the remote gets some moisture inside the remote on the circuit board. I wipe it off and it seems to stop it

Try pulling the batterys out of your remotes and see if you get a good nights sleep. Remotes are common for getting moisture as mentioned so pull the batterys out and see what happens....

As already mentioned, my panic button went off after I took my remote into the bathroom when I was having a shower. Then the remote didn't work as well, and occasionaly would cause the panic horn to go off. Pulled the remote apart and cleaned/dried out all the moisture, now she's good as new.
