So whats a reasonable figure for the brakes? I'm going to tell them to get f*cked with the trans fluid. Just spoke to a Pennrite supplier and the fluid they recommend is $38 for 4 litres.

So you said yes without first knowing how much it would cost? Did you say "yes, fix it all"???? If you did, you are screwed.

If they did the work without your authorisation, they are screwed.

How did they use 8L? if its a service refil, it should not have gone over 5L. If it was a dry refill it would be over 9L which means they've underfilled it.

$800 for brakes is what ford quoted me, I found it very difficult to just say no thanks ill order and fit them myself without telling them to get farked.

anyone know what a rear wheel bearing is worth in a bf? Gotta do that next ford said there was nothing wrong two mates that are mechanics said its collapsed so im gonna go for warranty but am guessing im gonna have to do it myself.

But if they told you what needs to be done and you said yes without knowing the price it's kinda your own fault. I would still not accept the bill though, although dealer pricing is always high that's outrageous.
