we got some real w4nkers up here with some exoctics that bag the crap out of what they call nothing better than taxi's & of coarse the regular skyline gtr's & the supra's. No one expects the taxi lol. There not exactly dailys but im gonna have something that can get sub 10 per 100klm fuel economy, my wife can drive, drive to brissy & beable to still walk & something that doesnt say pick me to the 50.

that's just my idea of the perfect daily though

r u gonna use race fuel on the dyno at all?

gonna use a 50/50 mix of toulene & 98. Reason being is I might not get a chance to race for months & race fuels so expensive to get up here freight wise it would be a shame for it to go off & get wasted.

Will put that in after its completely run in & probabaly just before we race it so the conditions are as close as what we'll be racing in. Just to make sure everything is as close as perfect because I may not get a second crack. I dont think the mrs will want a role cage in the family car. lol. We'll see what I can stretch though.

good idea john,that's what I would do for a race tune alot easier and a hell of alot cheaper than race fuel,that's what alot of the big power skylines use at powercruise!

yeah lee it makes sense to me. When our shop was building high powered outboards for ski racing that's what we use to use & supposed to be as good as anything else around.

I did talk to someone that did some back to back tests between a few race fuels & then used the 50/50 toulene mix & the car performed within a single digit of the expensive gogo juice. Best thing is its got a lot longer shelf life that fuel & you can mix up a fresh batch whenever ya ready to rumble & you know its gonna be consistant everytime.

I used to carry a drum of it in the boot of my 450hp 10yrs ago to mix with the old lead fuel worked a treat lol

haha funnily enough I was thinking of doin the same thing. Our fuel can be abit dodgy up here so I was thinking of chucking a few litres in every tank just to make sure. I spose it depends on how far they try & push it on pump gogo juice.

Yup, all the GT4202R versions run a 102mm comp wheel!

This may be a GT4294R version though which runs a 94mm comp wheel??

Things have started to move again today after about 2 wks of not much happening. The fuel system is all bar fitted & the dump pipe is well & truly on its way. All major components are fitted so its just a few fiddly bits & its rolling. I cant get a firm answer on a date but im just happy somethings happening with it. Im getting a nice big blow off valve fitted again. Will miss the turkies under the hood but would be too crazy with 30psi of boost goin off without a valve. Would be a whole farm under there.lol.
