well from my BA motor to someone elses BF number, im guessing it will have a different engine number lol

mate should not be a problem as people are putting rods out of blocks pretty often and having to get another block with a different number on it.. might be a bit of paper work involved though but should not be too much of a drama getting it sorted..

well wait till someone to reply that has changed there block over.. I was told it was not to big a deal as I was going to buy another new block for my build but my block was ok to use.. only had to go to the RTA and fill out paper work and get everything else changed then take details to the insurance company..

I have changed blocks and vicroads/insurance did not have an issue. Vicroads got one of their engineers to come and take a look at the car. They updated the new engine details, once it was confirmed that no new parts were fabricated to fit the new block.
