The ute is still pretty standard with the only exception being a xforce 2 1/2" cat back mild system which has really given it a lot better flow and is a lot more responsive. anyway this guy challenged me to a drag the other night against his VU II Late model camira ute s pack with the only mods being a full redback custom exhaust. I absolutely smoked him by the way; after 200meters the race was already won. Now this idiot being a poor unfortunate Expensive Daewoo fan has gone and priced a bigger cam, performance chip and a ss growler just to try and beat me. Just wondering what you guys think the result will be after he gets these mods done!!????... He has a lot of catching up to do in terms of power and I doubt he will come close to matching the power of a FG 4.0BTW your ute looks very nice, don't go bending it around a tree Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/60174-xr6-na-vs-vu-ii-commy-ute/#findComment-914645 Share on other sites

Have fun smoking him in round 2! Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/60174-xr6-na-vs-vu-ii-commy-ute/#findComment-914672 Share on other sites

I had a VS back in the day which is basically the same engine, but maybe a lil less power, and I did alot more mods than him and I only got to around 130rwkw's out of it untuned. Tuned HP-F said it would have around 140-150 rwkw.. So I reckon you will still have him, maybe get some extractors/headders to finnish off your exhaust and a CAI and kick his ass even more... seduced Need more power. Now taking donations. Member 753 Member For: 16y 3m 25d Gender: Male Posted 03/09/09 10:43 PM Share Posted 03/09/09 10:43 PM ITs no surprise man, the ecotech is a horrible engine. Dont get too excited, its like running the 100 metres against an asthmatic. I had an FG ute xr6 attempt to out run me last night... I even let him get out in front a little bit... hehe.
