Turbo Noise Urgent Help

hi all :holiday:

my car is making a funny noise coming from the turbo I think. it only happens when the car is still fairly cold. I always let the car warm up for about 5 minutes though if a little bit of throotle is given the noise appears. this does not hapen when the car is in nuetral that's why im guessing its the turbo. after about 5 min of driving the noise goes. im htinking its the bearing in the turbo. has anyone had the same problem or heard of this problem be4. I recently got this car 4 months ago. could some1 also tell me if it is the bearing how dangerous it is to the turbo and prices to get it fixed

I think im having the same issue. Does it sort of sound like when you put a beg in a bike wheel?

from the description given it does not sound like the turbo bearings have failed, can you possibly get a video of it happening?

I could try but I doubt it you will hear it. could this create lag?

Its not a very loud noise and will go away when it warms up. I doubt I could get in on audio or video. Also my car feels like its down on power but I cant be sure untill I get it on a dyno.

could be the power steering pump?

if its a whine noise then check the power steering pump pully
