Turbo Noise Urgent Help

I have this noise when the car is cold as well, its not super loud but yes it sounds like a peg in a bike wheel, ive been told that it may be an exhaust leak, or could it possibly be the heat shield rattling????? Either way I dont think its the bearings because ive looked at my turbo many times and spun it free hand and its moves nicely. If your worried about the bearings take the inlet tube off and check for shaft play or rough movement.

Exhaust leak? Have you pulled your heatshields off and tightend over manifold and turbo.

Can you here it if you load it up in gear when cold,maybe get someone to listen to it if it does.

Have you checked your turbo oil feed line and filter for being blocked? Might be starving the turbo a bit when cold.

Drivebelt or idler pulley? Again try load it up stationary and see if you can here it.

thnx for all your help guys. I took everyones examples and found it was one of the bearing on the fan belt that was making the noise. it was turning at full capacity and once I gave it abit of throttle it found it hard. so I changed the bearing and now its fine
