Hopefully they havent been total arseholes and flagged your car cos then its no warranty anywhere. Be carefull on dobbing your friendly Ford dealer in on here guys as they might get questioned as to why they are doing warranty on modded cars.

my housemates car was bought new at courtney patterson and the previous owner who bought it new took it back a few times about the rear diff bush and they told him at first it was standard even all au irs had it as it was the same bush and then when it was a more common problem wouldnt do sh*t all cos it had a bigger cooler and exhaust....

personally drive the extra 25-30mins and go to etheridge in ringwood... shouldnt have any problems....

If this dealer is not doing warranty work because of your mods, then find another dealer to do warranty work.

I would also suggest never using them again for anything, as it is the only way dealers will learn to look after their clients.

I am not saying that they should repair any modifed car under warranty, only items that continually stuff up modified or not.

My F6 had a diff bush doen at 30k km service and our TTG just got done on it's 30k km service. It is a common FORD problem.

Both my cars are stock.

I know it sucks but Ford Dealers have the right to decline warranty on the whole driveline if modded. Your spot on in saying they are a common problem as I reckon we do 10 territorys a week and a few sedans but they arent being recalled so they dont have to do it if modded. Some dealers are straight down the line and will say no but you get other dealers who will let it slide and get the work in the door. Good luck with it whichever way you go.

Well took it down to Ethridge today. they had a look at the rear diff and said they see nothing wrong with it..

when the previous ford service said they found a split in the rear diff bush and they are correct!

told him that my dads car which is the same as mine, had the same problem and identified it as a split in the rear diff bush..

and his response was. yours cars lowered so we can't do it under warranty anyway..

pickin up my car 2moro morning to show the Foreman what the problem is since they couldnt find sh!t all wrong with it today.. they love wastin peoples freakin time dont they.

any1 got any suggestions.. ? O_o... **

Take it to a real suspension place and pay to get it fixed.

You would save yourself time and grief dealing with a dealer who will not fix it.

The dealers have a networked service system, so they know that the warranty has been denied, so there is not point dealer shopping.
