If I remember correctly this is only for cars with a 16" steel spare and to go much faster will damage the diff due to a slight difference with the rolling diameter of the 17" vs the 16"

Yep

You have a limited slip diff and the differences int he rolling diameter caused the wheels to turn at a slightly different speed.

The faster yuo go the more damage it can cause to the LSD.

Its the difference in the rolling diamater between the 16in on one side of the diff and the 17/18/19inch on the other side.

A 16 inch each side is fine

+ the changes in handling with it running on only one side.

Also your ABS will have a bit of a spasm with different size wheels between front and back.
