Overboost

I had a f6 turbo with wastegate mod and 12 pound actuator put on my fg xr6t along with stage 2 pw cooler ,race air box and now it is all flowing too well and cannot control boost thought to external gate it but that not done for fg yet , any ideas???

try a softer actuator spring.

Softer actuator spring for better boost control? I would look for a stronger one, I know a couple of people have had to go to a 16 psi unit to control boost.

Rick, are you running the Nizpro exhaust? A couple of guys have had issues like this with the Niz 4"

p@ the exhaust is not nizpro it is fully custom ..

I need to wait for nizpro to bring out the boost controller they are making then I can put all my stuff back on and dial it up a bit.

Hmmm, ok, seems strange that you need a different boost controller on the FGs to the BA/F's. Quite a few people have been running 4" exhausts for a while now...
