antonioxr Member 29 Member For: 17y 4m 12d Posted 12/05/09 08:03 AM Posted 12/05/09 08:03 AM (edited) hey ppl just a quick question has anybody got a service on this box using all genuine parts oil, sump and filter and how much did it cost? a auto specialist said he'd do it for $400 all genuine parts replacing oil filter sump etc. ford wanted $1400 they said 400 was not possible because the parts alone are worth 600+ anyone know what the deal is and had any experiences?? they found a leak on my gearbox and fixing that under warranty hopefully this fixes a slow 1st to 2nd gear change all the other gears are quick and responsive but 1st to 2nd is slower any 1 had this issue??? thanks antonio Edited 12/05/09 08:04 AM by antonioxr

The genuine zf pan/filter from motospec was about $190 but I thought the oil was as dear as poison & could only be sourced through ford??? I used transmax z with a full flush cost about $150 - $200 worth of oil so if there not using the genuine gear than very possible for that price

Lets bloody hope so.
