  • Anyone else head down there last night? Took my el down with it now running an auto after the clutch meltdown a couple of weeks ago. Still hasn't seen the Dyno after the gearbox swap but it went a 10.

  • not bad for a car with a full comp stereo

Cant say she has had a babied run in, nor bounced off the limiter :dontknow:

I dunno about the track prepping always being good on street tyres, years ago I spun 300m up the track in me old V8 commo on the stickier fully prepped surface the drag cars were running on earlier in the day.. couple weeks later ran faster times, with more traction - very similar temps etc..

Didnt ever have traction issues that badly on other (dry) surfaces

Bonus was getting a quality, brakeless skid on video with two very long black lines to prove it :censored:

Hope you guys dont get the same problem I got!

I presume they are running a WAW on Wednesday the 19th?

If I can get a flight out on Thursday morning I'll go down on street tyres for a laugh :bangcomputer:

put some slicks on it!!

That was the idea for the last Xtreme race day.

It's just a bit hard to justify a couple of grand for rims/slicks/tailshaft plus the time to swap brakes etc so I can chest beat about a good time; as nice as that would be.

I want another house before I spend money on silly things again :bangcomputer:

I'll be a little far away on the 26th Ross. If I'm around for the 19th though I'll be happy to break them in for you.

Anyway there's sure to be a spare helmet on the day right? (On the 26th?)
