Hi DC, Simon from Xtreme Ford Tuning in Midland tuned the TUFFOON. His tune took it to 286.7rwkw...

I'm looking forward to getting some aftermarket gear on it & winding up the boost :idunno:

Just an update, for the few who may not know, the car went back to the strip with the same tune/mods (none) & ran 12.3 @ 112 MPH with a 1.9 60 footer...

Kael, still really interested to see the AFR and boost graphs. Wanna go have a dyno day if it will make it easier for you to get them? :buttrock:

Thanks mate!

Well, since the last news I brought a Nizpro kit, waited around like a half-sucked fat for their exhaust, went emo & sold the kit, swore I'd spend nothing more on the car, spent a little more on the car (sparked by seeing a super cheap basic PW cooler for sale, damn you TURBO4LT :shakefist:) gone through some rubber and converted back into tight mode as of tomorrow night.

So, car now has

-Nizpro injectors

-PW Surge

-PW cooler/pipes to stock crossover

-4" dump & 5" 100 CPSI cat

-K&N panel filter

-Xtreme tune

It's far from the toughest setup but it's a massive improvement from stock. Car blacklines everywhere but still appears stock under-bonnet because it retains the original crossover/airbox/piping ect.

Good for 313 rwkw on a gentle tune. I'm hoping for that magic 11 point something on street tyres, tomorrow night I'll give it a go and see if I can still make it grip like before.

Some new shots

Quality pics :-)

313 eats 286 in terms of the "seat of pants" feel....should be much happier at that power level.

Thanks mate :)

I've always thought the 286 figure was a little inflated, the car was a little looser on the dyno than it would normally be as I tied it down myself, makes sense now that it feels like a different car with not even 30 rwkw more.

Spooling sound from the big dump is awesome too! :shakefist:

Thanks man. :shakefist:

They're King's SSL springs in the rear, P@ from Wholesale should have a part # for them.

However be warned, they sit okay, however tbh *quietly* I'm not 100% happy with how it sits with them man. I actually climbed into the boot in the above pic for this exact reason.
