If so does the cross over need to come off, I cant see any adjustment screw with the cross over on. Though If I take it off seems like it will be a long process to get the adjustment right.

ETM Member 1,194 Member For: 19y 6m 28d Gender: Male Location: syd south Posted 07/03/09 11:15 AM Posted 07/03/09 11:15 AM I think ol' scrotus must be referring to the compressor surge created when the throttle shuts, this is a very different thing to regular compressor surge which occurs when the turbo is pumping more air than the engine can handle at a particular rev range. It is generally found on small engines fitted with turbos that have a big compressor wheel and a small exhaust wheel, it's not something that will happen on an xr6t engine with a standard turbo that's for sure.As for dealing with the hekto dosing fit a nice big bov, plumb back or atmo does not matter, and set it as loose as possible without letting the engines revs drop when you shut the throttle.

Being plumb back means it will work the same as the factory one, so there will be no extra sound. I beleive a lot of guys have used the GFB StealthFX - this is adjustable
