I took the ute out on some private road for some speed testing when I got up over 150 it was all over the place by 180 I could barley keep it in my lane and had to back off anyone know how to beat this im guessing suspension and maby sway bars

any ideas?

Could just be bad wheel alignment or balance?

Many people on here, including me have been over 200km/h (in appropriate places eg. Strip, NT, "private roads") in their XR without this problem.

Sounds like you need a fix, not an upgrade.

yeah balance and alignment have been checked ive don it in the sedans no worrys

Never had that issue in my BA or BF utes, does get a bit "flighty" but not to the extent that you're talking about.

If you want to go that fast in your ute put some decent shocks under it (koni's or bilsteins) lower a touch (20mm tops) and fit a bigger front and a rear sway bar. A little bit of wieght in the tray help too. There is a noticable difference in my ute hard cover on/off. I don't know if this i because of the wieght of the cover or because of the big flat panel for the air to rush over.
