Who has waites the longest for delivery. I ordered my car on March the 11. Dealer reckons august build. It has only just hit the Ford system and no indication of build date yet.

Mine took 175 days from the time I ordered to the time it was delivered.

90 something days I think... would have been longer but someone cancelled their order, the specs matched what I wanted so

123 days from day of order to day of delivery.

Ordered and paid for the Mustang, I know there are 20 left in Melbourne and two of those are silver with charcoal interior (exactly what we ordered)

Now for the past week, my dealer (who keeps telling us they are the No 1 retailer and can get any car) still can't come back with a positive answer. That means, he hasn;t got hold of a silver Mustang Cobra wil charcoal interior and we are still waiting.

Having made some inquiries with my best friend (a dealer principal of a Ford dealership) it may be assumed that the Mustang Cobra's are being horded in another State. Does this mean the dealer is going to do some profiteering? Does this mean the dealer is going to maximise the factory bonuses off Ford at the expense of sales?

I hope not!! We want to car, have ordered the car and bloody well better get what we're after!!!

In saying that I can understand if there is a bit of horsetrading going on between dealers for stock but if that's the case, I don't think it is good for business or customer loyalty to stuff people around.

Maybe if we don;t get an answer soon the story may appear in the media!
