Posted 25/01/09 06:46 AM Share Posted 25/01/09 06:46 AM (edited) Hi guyz,My car picked up some issues on a recent cruise and would like to share my recent experiements I tried with my car....Problem(s)Well, the car seems to be holding back on full boost (15-16psi) as if suffering from fuel starvation or something rather?? But then again, I do have the upgraded deka injectors and Walbro fuel pump so I dont think there should be an issue in this department?? It does not miss @ idle and it is otherwise smooth from the low to midrange. The second issue I have which I picked up on the same cruise was that the car seems to take longer (about 3-4seconds) to crank over but this only occurs after the car has been sitting for a while, but when I go to crank it again after freshly turning the car off then it start straight away? Dont know if this makes sense but yeah that's the second issue I have with my car!Diagnosing the carChecked and cleaned all hoses/piping and electronic connector's. All were intact!Did the boost solenoid maintenaneReplaced the spark plugs with the common NGK Iridiums BKR6EIX which are already gapped to .80mmReplaced Coil's with my cousin's carI did notice a difference after changing the plugs (ever so slightly) but the issue was still there so I exchanged coils with my cousin (XXRLNT) however the holdback was still there and I was like WTF!!!!!!!! Any help will be appreciated..All in all, I do have the car booked @ Springy Performance first thing on Tuesday so I will let you guyz know what the promblem was....
