Yeh sorta got bored this afternoon... And decided to paint (yes im a painter ) my stock BA XR Rims full crome...

After about 1 hour I ended up with these..

Now im thinking about 2 toning it black and only having the center bits that come out in crome and the middle bits in black.

PS: Yes I really couldn't be botherd masking the tyres up as they have no tred on them, metal has come outside already on the inner side, and nope they arn't my rims im using

Fark you were boared.. You could have come over my place and helped me pull down a shed, move two vegie gardens and fill in a hole that once had a rather lage tree stump in it.

On another note ive always wondered what the XR rims would look like a darker colour or pianno black

I actually got one haha, xbox360 to pin point it, I gave up on xbox and net games after school though, just isnt the same. and yeh getting beat by my 12 year old bro in halo and stuff = NOT COOL! haha

Here are the rims with the Black paint on them ( Black is FLAT but came out like semi gloss... imagine if I did ultra gloss enamal?)

I Honestly DON'T recomend anyone doing this unless you are using the full proper items, unlike be being noob with a spray can gloss/primer !

wow it doesnt look too bad. It actually looks like an aftermarket rim you buy from the shops. You could have at least taped up the "ford" logo on the cap though

thnk it looks pretty good considering.. u gonna put em on? Don't think ya shoulda covered the beloved ford symbol but

I'd like to see em on before I decide...

looks good.. but on 17's? maybe if they were a lil biger

Im not a fan of the BA 17's but that actually looks alright.

If you could do 2 of them and put on your car that would be great...

And the Ford badges too.

The BA MkII wheels looked heaps better. I like them more then my BF rims.
