January 14, 200917 yr #101 Author ford know about his modifications.. he has personally taken his account manager for a test drive once the blower was fitted Christian has paying for the fix himself, as realistically the cause of the breaking could have been 1 of 2 things..
January 14, 200917 yr #102 Yes as Danny said Ford know about my mods. They have looked after me very well with both FPVs I bought from them so I update them with the progress on the car and take them for joyrides every now and then. There ford nuts too and a couple of them frequent these forums to follow the build. Great bunch of guys at city Ford, I highly recommend them.As for the car, I have fixed the centre bearing but I am looking into an longer rear tailshaft as it looks to be about 10mm to short due to the excessive lowering of the rear end. Once this is done I will push the motor as much as it can safely handle. Almost there people, I can't wait!
January 14, 200917 yr #103 Sweet!!!Always nice when you have enthusiasts, not just some wa*ker who needed a job... I have heard good things about City Ford...Would be nice to have someone like Senna @ our local Ford dealer. The service manager there was into HSV's and rally drove an EVO lancer (wa*ker! )Good to see that you should have worked out why it packed up...
January 14, 200917 yr #104 lol @ Wormy, I find if you show them respect they return the favour. Not all car salesman are evil, even Senna has proven that!and for the record, the service manager at city Ford is a top bloke as are the rest of the staff in the show room.
January 15, 200917 yr #105 Yeah I'm like that with my local Fraud service dudes too. I know a few of em but the rest are good blokes, and they put border line warranty items through for me too
