Hi All,

Just upgraded from 03 XR6T to 07 F6 Phoon....I ordered a pricey set of genuine

floor mats..apparently they have been discontinued?? My local ford dealership have

got in some FG ones, but they reckon they lockpretty ordinary to the bf version!

Can anyone help with some Bf Fpv photos so I can compare for myself thanx.

The FPV mats are lame no matter what model. The genuine ones only have two small brushed alloy buttons at the bottom, that's all - nothing to special! What did the FG ones they had for you look like?

Those bloody FPV bits fall off anyway. Well at least mine did - all four of them

The mats I seen in the FG FPV were the same as my BF FPV..

They are so plain and boring, but I guess that's better than in your face and being showy IMHO!

I have not had any issues with mine, still like new 2ys and 45,000kms on.

Got the RSpec BFII ones and can agree the metal bits fall off!

Just stuck one back on last night! 2nd so far... :banghead: :banghead:

They have a big RSPEC stitched logo on them, and while it looks better then the standard ones, it still a bit in your face! :banghead:

Plastic not , metal bits do come off.In my previous BA2 Phoon, 2 of mine got sucked up in the "Car Lovers" vacuum

Gooorne :crybaby: Wasn't worth replacing them. Consolidated and had one FPV mat and a piece of black carpet for the other.

Unless the dealer throws them in for nix. Waste of money

As everyone's pointed out the FPV/XR carpet mats are crap

I put mine in a cupboard and got a set of

Basic ford Rubber floor mats.

The dont need anchors

they fit exactly in the floor space

they stick to the floor and dont move

they can get dirty-then you hose em off

they keep the floor perfectly clean as the edges prevent stones and gravel/dirt moving to the floor,

and they're cheap about $50 a set

and they dont wear out (easily) like the FPV ones which had the underside foam thinning out after a month

Cheap practical solution

...Andthey actually look OK IMHO

:crybaby:
