hello I am a new member

I have a bfxr6 turbo and it is in shockwave colour

I am thinking of putting stripes on her.

Has any member got one in this colour with the stripes on it that they can let me look at please?.

My partner thinks it will cheapen the car and make it into a hoons car if I put stripes on it.

Is there any thought on this and whether it does belittle the car in any way.

hey, welcome to the site. I had stripes on my typhoon when I got it.. it did grow on me but after a while I took them off and I think the car looks a hell of a lot better with out them, but each to his own. take a photo of your car and stick it in photoshop or paint and see what it looks like and go from there. that's how I decided to take mine off.

I think the stripes look great, as long as the colour isn't a gross clash with the vehicle colour. I love a silver car with black stripes.

I have a Phantom Purple BA XR6t with silver stripes and I liked them and hate them on different days...

might be taking it off in the near future but I reackon, once I lower it I'll keep them on

I put some black stripes on my mercury silver ute not so long ago... and I think it looks great does make it look abit more like a hoons ute but ... that's what I am

IMO Stripes do look pretty sh*t I have seen some colour combos that work OK, but not a fan unless they have them from factory....

IMO I like the stripes but its got to be the right choice of colour. I like the white stripes on the blue not the silver.

I have had 2 thick stripes then pulled them off and had the mark II ones put on -thin and thick and now totally wanted to be different and have 2 thin stripes & a thick one in the middle just on the doors as shown below, like the mustangs

not a fan off the stipes IMHO ford should never have made it an option except for the GT no you see magnas and camrys all over the place with the stripes and its cheapend the GT

each to there own though it can look nice
