Take one sticky track, boost off the line, a cup of boost and plenty of torque.

And there you have it, a nice new cork screw of a tail shaft.

This happened to me at calder last night after waiting for 3 hours to get my first run after 10pm.

I was freezing cold and very nervous = lots of shaking.

It was my first run with the ability to boost off the line and after waiting so long for one run I may have pushed it too hard. Ooops. I wasn't paying attention to revs or anything, just the feel of the car. I guess nerves got to me on that run.

You can see how sticky the track was. With a pic of VHT still on my front tyres and plenty of debris still stuck to the tyre.

Big thanks to Stef from ShowTow, Mark and Daza for their help last night. Really appreciate it.

Yes mate it was a hell of a let down. Not a good feeling pushing your car off the start line in front off alot off people lol. But when doing something, might as well do it right lol.

Unbelievable torque you got there, maybe a just a little less boost off the line next time.

Imagine if the tailshaft didn't twist and you launched it. You might have flipped the car??? :roflmbo:

Seriously, that was some bad luck mate. If the diff etc okay?

I was with Spoolman today when you sent him that first pic,
